Im currently making the Lychee cardigan with this yarn and it is a dream, to work with. so soft and such great quality fibres.
The Cotton weiches Garn
I always buy WAK cotton for my projects. It's beautiful quality and ethical journey means that I can create items that fit with my desire to only use materials that are responsibly sourced, are 100% natural, contain no plastics and provide a beautiful finish. I use it for bags, clothes, amigurumi toys, etc... I thoroughly recommend The Cotton in all its beautiful colours.
Love this! It is a good size and the exterior handy pocket keeps notions away from the yarn whilst the drawstring ensures that yarn stays nice and clean. The latter along with the added wrist band allow for ease of knitting 'on the go'. Yarn can be pulled from the bag without fear of it rolling on the floor.
Inside the bag there is a yarn pocket with a yarn feed hole and also 3 other pockets opposite for bits and bobs. The bag itself is very well made and I have no doubt that it will be long lasting. If I had to be picky I would love a cross body strap or two D-rings to clip one to but that's just me 😊
I'm extremely pleased with my purchase which is different from the pile of yarn/kits I have purchased before. (Highly recommend those too!)
This was my first knitting in the round project and I definitely needed practice and other videos to help me get there. The shaping increases are critical to nail to get the correctly shaped jumper. The jacquard was easier than I thought! The wool is so lovely. I reduced the height of the neck. The voluminous sleeves are gorgeous. Loved it!

This yarn is gorgeous colours but beware there is so much variation in the level of colour saturation from one ball to another. I ended up having to reknit the two sides of the front of my Tupelo cardi, swapping between balls every couple of rows to achieve a finished piece which didn't look completely mismatched. All of the yarn in my pictures is from the same dye lot.
The yarn itself is squishy and very soft. I suspect it will pill if not cared for correctly. But I'm prepared to do some hand washing for a piece this lush.

N'ayant jamais osé faire un vrai projet tricot, j'ai fait confiance à WAK.
La laine se tricote et se détricote très facilement, car oui j'ai du détricoter un peu au début. Les vidéos d'accompagnement sont claires et le service client par mail est très réactif.
Pour les manches, j'ai pris la liberté d'allonger de quelques rangs pour avoir un tombé au plus proche des poignets.
Le résultat ? Un pull aux couleurs bonbon, une fierté personnelle et et des compliments !
Knitted with 6mm circular needles. Beautiful drape and good stitch definition for the lace motif. Button bands in 4.5mm. And crocheted buttons with 3mm crochet.
I recently purchased my very first knitting kit from We Are Knitters — the Morse Scarf — and it turned out to be such a special experience for me.
Knitting has been on my wish list since I was a child. My grandmother was an incredible knitter, and I always dreamed of learning from her. Unfortunately, I never had the chance, and for years I believed knitting was something I would never be able to do myself.
Thanks to We Are Knitters, that changed completely. The kit made everything feel approachable and enjoyable, and step by step I realized: I could do it. I not only finished my first project, but I truly loved the entire process — from the first stitches to seeing the scarf come together with my own hands.
